Hi! I’m Paul and I am the founder and lead trainer here at Essential Aid.

I have worked extensively in the outdoors and in the education sector, and have a long career of working in Health and Safety along with First Aid provision.

I have delivered training across the UK and Europe. I have worked with a range of professionals across multiple industries and educational settings, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively in stressful and unfamiliar environments and situations.

I am passionate about delivering first aid training in a way that ensure the information sticks in peoples’ minds as well as being engaging. I believe these training courses shouldn‘t just be a tick-box, but are a powerful team building opportunity that leaves your team more equipped to collaborate and communicate effectively in times of stress.

I live in Cumbria with my family and enjoy to cycle, in particular going off the beaten track doing multi-day bike packing trips.
